What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website or service provider may store in a browser. Local storage is a browser feature that can keep information on a device without sending that information with every web request. Similar technologies include pixels, software development kits, and device identifiers.
Some technologies are essential to provide a requested feature, while others may be used for preferences, measurement, security, or advertising. Their duration may be limited to a browsing session or continue until they expire or are deleted.
Technology currently used by this application
The current CyberGuardZoid application uses browser local storage to remember services added to your shortlist. This allows the shortlist to remain available between visits on the same browser and device. The stored record contains product identifiers and quantities, not payment-card details or the notes entered in an email request.
The application code does not currently set Google Analytics, Google Ads remarketing, conversion-tracking, social-media advertising, or behavioral-advertising cookies. Because deployment platforms can add security, load-balancing, or authentication technology, essential provider cookies may appear when those services are active.
Categories of cookies that may be used
When relevant features are active, the website or its service providers may use the following categories:
- Strictly necessary and security technologies used to deliver pages, balance traffic, prevent abuse, preserve a session, or complete a feature you request.
- Preference technologies used to remember choices such as a service shortlist or interface setting.
- Authentication technologies used by a managed identity provider to sign a user in and protect an account session.
- Analytics or advertising technologies only if introduced later with updated disclosures and any legally required consent or opt-out controls.
Your choices
You can remove the service shortlist through the website or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking all storage may prevent the shortlist, sign-in, security, or other requested features from working correctly.
The site does not currently use optional advertising or analytics cookies, so it does not currently display an optional-cookie consent banner. If optional tracking is added, CyberGuardZoid will implement an appropriate choice mechanism before activating it where required.
Global Privacy Control and advertising choices
CyberGuardZoid does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If a future practice is subject to an applicable opt-out law, we will describe the practice and honor qualifying opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required.
Controls offered by a browser, device, advertising platform, or industry opt-out service operate independently and may not remove strictly necessary storage.
Third-party services
Links to third-party websites do not place their cookies on this site merely because the link exists. If you visit a third-party site or use a third-party identity, email, software, or payment service, that provider may use its own technologies under its own policy.
Retention
The service shortlist remains in local storage until you remove it, clear the browser's site data, or use a browser or device that does not have that record. Provider-controlled cookies have durations set by the relevant provider. We review storage practices when material features change.
